How Do I Update My BIOS?
The performance, stability, and compatibility of your system may depend on it. All you need for the process is an internet connection, a USB stick, and 10 minutes to spare. While a BIOS update is easier and more reliable than ever, if your system suffers a sudden loss of power midway through the process it could be lights out for your gaming PC.
Also note down any BIOS settings or overclocking values before undertaking the following update process as these will be wiped during the installation. In order to download the right file and get your system updated, you need to know exactly the make and model of your motherboard. The best thing to do is try another USB drive and also try using one that is 2 GB or less as these seem to be more reliable.
